The Redskins’ offense is clicking in Arizona. 

And if you bet Chris Thompson for the Redskins’ first touchdown of the season, collect your earnings. Quarterback Alex Smith hit Thompson for a 13-yard pass for the game’s first touchdown at the start of the second quarter.

 



“PLACAR, ABERTO!” indeed. (Google translate says that’s Portuguese for “OPEN SCOREBOARD,” which sure.) 

The Smith-Thompson connection isn’t the only thing working, by the way. Adrian Peterson is running like it’s 2009. With less than two minutes left in the first half, Peterson has 14 carries for 53 yards and a touchdown. 

Peterson’s score was also his 100th career rushing touchdown:
