NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a Brooklyn man stabbed his wife and his daughter during an argument, then knifed himself in the abdomen and set a room of their apartment on fire.
All three were hospitalized after the assault with a kitchen knife Friday afternoon in the Sunset Park neighborhood.
The 63-year-old husband was hospitalized and in police custody, but had yet to be charged late Friday.
The wife suffered a finger wound and the 45-year-old daughter was stabbed in both shoulders.
Police say none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Authorities did not immediately release the names of the victims or of the alleged attacker.
