GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina man is jailed on a $2 million bond following his arrest on charges of sex crimes involving a child.
News outlets report the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office says 34-year-old Daniel Lee Wilson was already jailed on unrelated charges when he was arrested Thursday. Those charges resulted in a $65,000 bond. It couldn’t be determined if Wilson has an attorney.
Authorities filed several charges against Wilson, including statutory rape of a child under the age of 15 and statutory sexual offense with a child.
Court documents say the crimes happened during the last half of January 2018 in Pitt County.
