LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police say a man and woman are dead in an apparent murder-suicide but two young children found in their home are unharmed.
Police say a report of shots being fired sent officers to a condominium in the Chatsworth area on Sunday afternoon.
They found a 46-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman dead. Police say the man apparently shot his wife as she lay in bed in an upstairs room, then killed himself. Their names haven’t been released.
The couple’s 3-month-old son and 4-year-old daughter were found unharmed in the home.
The children are in the care of child welfare officials.
