PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Two Philadelphia men face charges stemming from the fatal shooting of a man struck by a stray bullet while he was working on a car at an auto body shop.
Authorities have said the bullet that killed 56-year-old Michael Gleba was fired during an April 11 street shootout involving two groups. They say the groups were fighting over drugs and that at least 15 shots were fired overall.
Philadelphia police said Thursday that 19-year-old Shabazz Sweets and 25-year-old Eric Smith have been charged with murder, conspiracy and related offenses. It’s not known if either man has retained an attorney.
