NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a man jumped to his death from a Manhattan apartment building and his wife was found stabbed to death inside the apartment.
Police responded to a 911 call in the Inwood neighborhood shortly before 10:30 p.m. Sunday and found 72-year-old Campo Elias Albuja-Montalvo lying on the pavement unconscious and unresponsive.
The officials found his 78-year-old wife, Francia Walsh, lying on a sofa with stab wounds when they got inside the sixth-floor apartment.
Both the man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene. Police say a knife was recovered from the apartment.
