NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Police say a 15-year-old boy was among two people who suffered gunfire injuries in New Haven.
Sgt. Shayna Kendall officers responded to the area of State Street and May streets at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday where they found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound and an 18-year-old man who had been grazed.
Both were taken to the Yale New Haven Hospital and are expected to survive.
No names were released and no motive was disclosed. Police are investigating.
It is at least the fourth time a juvenile was shot in the New Haven area since April.
