NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) - A smoky fire in an industrial area in North Las Vegas generated a plume of heavy black smoke, snarled traffic and prompted a warning for motorists on a busy nearby freeway to use caution.
City authorities did not immediately respond to messages about the fire reported a little after noon Friday at a warehouse building on Losee (LOH’-see) Road near Lake Mead Boulevard and Interstate 15.
