PHOENIX (AP) - A Tonopah man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the 2017 death of his girlfriend’s dad.
Prosecutors say 24-year-old Daniel Stroh is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 7.
The Arizona Republic reports Stroh also pleaded guilty Thursday to attempted child abuse and tampering with evidence.
Stroh’s girlfriend was sentenced in August to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to the same three charges in a plea agreement.
Prosecutors say the woman gave Stroh her father’s gun and he hid in her house until her dad came home.
Stroh is accused of fatally shooting John Norton Sr. in the home’s kitchen in October 2017 before he and his girlfriend fled the scene.
