LANDOVER — The Cincinnati Bengals locked up the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft with an overtime loss Sunday, while the Washington Redskins are the favorites to land the No. 2 pick after their own loss in overtime.

The Bengals dropped to 1-14, two games worse than the 3-12 Redskins with one week to play, which solidifies Cincinnati at No. 1.

The New York Giants and Miami Dolphins — who beat the Redskins and Bengals, respectively — moved back to No. 4 and No. 5 in the order, behind the 3-11-1 Detroit Lions, who lost their eighth in a row.

The Redskins will secure the second overall pick if they lose next week to the Dallas Cowboys. If Washington wins that game, losses by Detroit, New York and Miami would also guarantee that Washington picks second.

Mock drafts expect the Bengals to draft Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Joe Burrow from LSU first overall, lining up the No. 2 team to land Ohio State edge rusher Chase Young, whom experts are calling the best overall prospect expected to enter the draft class.

Washington fell 41-35 Sunday to New York on Daniel Jones’ fifth touchdown pass of the day.

This is how the top 10 shapes up after Sunday afternoon’s games:

1. Cincinnati Bengals (1-14)

2. Washington Redskins (3-12)

3. Detroit Lions (3-11-1)

4. New York Giants (4-11, .473 strength of schedule)
