BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Sheriff’s deputies in Louisiana say a man has been shot and killed outside an apartment complex.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office told news outlets that 22-year-old Anfernee James Holden was shot shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday. Holden was taken to a hospital and later died from his injuries.
Investigators say someone pulled up to the complex and opened fire on Holden. An apartment manager said Holden was visiting the complex and did not live there.
