WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - A man and a woman charged in connection with the shooting death of a Massachusetts man in May have pleaded not guilty.
Devon Rivera and Ariana Boss entered their pleas Monday in the May 13 shooting of Roberto Hernandez Gil in Worcester in what prosecutors say was a robbery that took a deadly turn.
The Telegram & Gazette reports that 26-year-old Rivera was held without bail on several charges including murder and armed robbery. His attorney did not challenge the bail amount.
The 25-year-old Boss was charged with being an accessory for allegedly acting as the getaway driver.
She was allowed to remain free on $5,000 cash bail after her attorney argued that she returned to court after her district court arraignment.
