PROVIDENCE VILLAGE, Texas (AP) - A North Texas mother has been charged with felony injury to a child in the death of her 4-year-old son found left in her hot sport utility vehicle.

A police statement says 37-year-old Lisa Neyland of Providence Village, Texas, turned herself in Tuesday to police in nearby Aubrey after she was informed that a warrant had been issued for her arrest.

The Aubrey police statement says the department was alerted June 20 of a child found by family members inside the SUV parked in the driveway of the family home. Paramedics said they found Kaysen Neyland unresponsive. He was airlifted 30 miles south to a Dallas hospital. He died two days later.

Lisa Neyland remains in Denton County Jail under $75,000 bond. Jail records list no attorney for her.
