O.J. Simpson, convicted kidnapper and former football star, made his Twitter debut Friday with a selfie-video, in which he said, “I got a little gettin’ even to do.”

Since Friday, the social media rookie has amassed about 648,000 followers. His first video has 11.3 million views.

Simpson’s account comes 25 years after the highly-televised pursuit of the white Ford Bronco. Police chased the 1993 Ford down Los Angeles roads in search of Simpson, who was a suspect in the stabbing of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman.

The 71-year-old was acquitted in that case, but was convicted years later of kidnapping and robbery in a case involving sports memorabilia.

Monday marks the anniversary of the high-speed chase.

“For years, people have been able to say whatever they wanted to say about me with no accountability, but now I get to challenge a lot of that B.S. and set the record straight,” he said in a video Sunday.
