BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A Nevada man has pleaded not guilty to deliberate homicide in the suspected death of his girlfriend, who was last seen in Montana in September 2018.

The body of 49-year-old Laura Johnson has not been found.

The Billings Gazette reports 54-year-old Gregory Scott Green entered his plea Tuesday in District Court in Billings. He is being held in the Yellowstone County jail with his bail set at $250,000.

Prosecutors say a neighbor’s home surveillance camera shows Green carrying an object that looked like a body wrapped in a blanket out of his garage and loading it into his work truck on Sept. 14, 2018 - a day after Johnson was last seen alive.

Police have asked landowners around Laurel, Shepherd, Worden and Huntley to help search for her remains.
