NEW YORK (AP) - Police are looking for a suspect after a man reported being robbed of jewelry and his wallet while he was sleeping on a building stoop.

The man reported to authorities that he had fallen asleep around 2 a.m. on May 25 on the stoop in front of the building on Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn.

He told police that while he was sleeping, someone took a $2,000 bracelet, a $1,000 chain, clothing and a wallet with his identification and bank cards from him over the course of an hour.

Police say the man reported the theft later that day after waking up and finding his property gone.
