RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Police have released the identity of the man found dead in a Rutland, Vermont, home. Police have called the death suspicious but say there is no indication that the public is in danger.

Police say 59-year-old Joseph M. Johnson was found dead in his home by a probation officer who was doing a welfare check on Thursday.

Police are not saying how he died.
