NEW YORK (AP) - Fire officials say three people were hurt when scaffolding blew off the top of a 12-story building in Brooklyn.

It happened at a residential building at Fourth Avenue and Carroll Street in Park Slope at about 3 p.m. Sunday.

Fire officials say the debris crashed down onto a courtyard and atrium of a two-story bar next door, injuring three patrons.

Officials say one person suffered serious injuries and two others were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
