TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A man convicted in a 2016 fatal shooting in Tucson has been sentenced to life in prison.
Pima County prosecutors say Joel Rodriguez was found guilty of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder last month and was sentenced Monday.
Rodriguez was one of three people accused in the December 2016 death of Richard Jensen.
Jessica Rodriguez-Cordova and Aaron Abel Heath also were arrested and indicted in connection with the shooting.
Rodriguez-Cordova was initially facing a charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
She pleaded guilty to manslaughter last October and was sentenced to 10 1/2 years in prison.
Heath was initially facing a first-degree murder charge.
Tucson TV station KOLD says Heath pleaded guilty on a manslaughter charge earlier this year and will be sentenced on June 10.
