OCOEE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a sheriff’s deputy hit and killed a pedestrian along a central Florida roadway.
Ocoee police officials tell news outlets the crash involving an Orange County Sheriff’s deputy happened around 9 p.m. Monday. The deputy was driving a marked patrol car.
Investigators have not released many details about the crash, including the names of the deputy and the victim. They also haven’t how the crash happened.
