SUMTER, S.C. (AP) - Police say the death of a 5-year-old girl in a pool during a party was an accident, but they are still trying to determine what happened.

Sumter Police said video from the Saturday pool party shows around 30 adults and children in and around the pool when suddenly someone realized something was wrong with Faith Gilmore.

Police said in a statement the child remained above the water.

Investigators say they are awaiting toxicology test results and other information to determine what killed the girl. They say they don’t plan to file any charges.

Police say the death happened during a pool party at the Econo Lodge in Sumter.
