GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - A Colorado man faces life in prison without the possibility of parole after a jury found him guilty of multiple charges in connection with the shooting death of a 17-year-old girl.

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports 22-year-old Israel Jerome Massingill was convicted Monday of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, patronizing a prostituted child and drug possession in the 2017 fatal shooting of Kiera Breanne Quintana and attempted murder of another 17-year-old girl.

The jury found Massingill not guilty of sexual assault and felony murder.

Mesa County District Attorney Dan Rubinstein says the only sentence Massingill can receive is life in prison without parole. He says the charges could produce consecutive sentences.

Massingill is set to be sentenced June 14.
