WYOMING, Del. (AP) - An 8-year-old Delaware girl is missing and authorities believe her mother has taken her in violation of a family court order.
Police in the Delaware town of Wyoming say they are trying to locate Mia Funes. The youngster was last seen Friday with her biological mother, Jessica Ewing, at a Camden elementary school.
In a Saturday statement, police say that if the 40-year-old Ewing has her daughter she is in violation of a family court order issued on May 24.
Ewing is driving a blue 2019 Toyota Corolla registered in Arkansas. Wyoming authorities are urging anyone who knows of the whereabouts of Ewing or her daughter to contact the Kent County communications center.
