STANLEY, N.D. (AP) - A Fargo man has pleaded guilty to murdering his girlfriend’s 6-month-old son in Stanley.
Cody Faltersack entered his plea Thursday in Mountrail County court.
Authorities alleged Faltersack was alone with the child last November when emergency crews responded to a report of an unresponsive child. The boy later died at a Minot hospital of brain trauma.
A manslaughter charge against Faltersack earlier was upgraded to murder.
Faltersack faces life in prison. KXMC-TV reports sentencing is scheduled for August.
