CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A 25-year-old man accused of killing two people and injuring two teenagers after opening fire inside an east Cheyenne home has pleaded not guilty to a separate federal charge.
KGAB-AM reports that Andrew Weaver entered the plea Monday to a single count of felon in possession of a firearm.
A jury trial is scheduled for Dec. 2 before Judge Scott W. Skavdahl in Casper.
Weaver is also accused of the Sept. 16 deaths of 30-year-old Shaline Wymer and 37-year-old Adrien Butler as well as seriously injuring two 14-year-old boys. He faces state circuit court charges of two counts of second-degree murder, one count of attempted second-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
Weaver remains in custody.
