MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Redskins right guard Brandon Scherff is active for Sunday’s contest against the Miami Dolphins after missing the last two games with an ankle injury.
The Redskins’ offensive line struggled without Scherff, letting up nine sacks over the last two weeks. They were also without center Chase Roullier, who was active last week but did not play. Both players were injured in Washington’s Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears.
With Scherff active, here’s who will be inactive against the Dolphins:
- Tight end Vernon Davis (concussion)
- Safety Deshazor Everett (ankle)
- Wide receiver Cam Sims
- Quarterback Colt McCoy
- Linebacker Josh Harvey-Clemons (hamstring)
- Guard Wes Martin (Chest)
- Cornerback Aaron Colvin
Davis will miss his second straight game with a concussion. Everett, meanwhile, suffered an ankle injury in practice last week, which is why he is inactive. Washington promoted safety Jeremy Reaves on Saturday when it placed tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) on injured reserve.
