MILFORD, Del. (AP) - A Delaware man accused of shooting an occupied vehicle has been arrested.

News outlets report Delaware State Police took 30-year-old Linwood Owens into custody in Felton on Sunday. Police Sgt. Robert Masten says a gunshot struck the rear fender of a vehicle in Milford on Friday. It’s unclear what led up to the shooting. No injuries were reported.

Owens has been charged with possessing a gun during the commission of a felony, reckless endangering, possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited and criminal mischief. He was booked into the Sussex Correctional Institution.

Owens is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Thursday. It’s unclear whether he had an attorney who could comment.
