CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - Pinal County authorities say one of three suspects wanted in a fatal shooting near Casa Grande has been arrested in Mexico.

County sheriff’s officials say 20-year-old Alex Leon was turned over to their custody Monday after being captured in Cananea, Sonora by Mexican authorities.

They say Leon is jailed on suspicion of murder and aggravated assault.

Authorities had been searching for Leon and two other male suspects after last Thursday’s shooting that left 22-year-old Chad Bruno dead and a woman wounded.

They say the people involved all knew each other and met at the location of the shooting south of Interstate 8.

Sheriff’s officials say the search continues for the two other suspects in the homicide case.
