TOWSON, Md. (AP) - Police in Baltimore County have now arrested 10 people in connection with a suspected gang-related slaying earlier this summer in Towson.

Police on Thursday announced the arrests of three more people in the death of 21-year-old Daniel Alejandro Alvarado-Cuellar. Seven others were arrested last week.

Authorities say 22-year-old Hugo Leonel Martinez-Vasquez, 19-year-old Jose Alexi Villacorta-Rivas and a 17-year-old boy have been charged with first-degree murder and are being held without bail.

The Baltimore Sun reported authorities in court records attributed Alvarado-Cuellar’s killing to disputes between the MS-13 gang and another violent group. Authorities say Alvarado-Cuellar was stabbed to death in July after MS-13 members followed him home from a laundromat.

Court records do not list an attorney for Martinez-Vasquez. The records do not name the public defender assigned to Villacorta-Rivas.
