WILLINGBORO, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a woman was shot and killed while sitting in a parked car in a southern New Jersey neighborhood.
Willingboro police found the body of 26-year-old township resident Deasia Ayres around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. But it’s not clear when the shooting occurred or if the vehicle belonged to her.
No other injuries were reported in the shooting.
Burlington County prosecutors are leading the investigation. They declined to provide further details on the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
