LANDOVER — The chants for Dwayne Haskins have started.

Case Keenum threw two interceptions, lost one fumble and was sacked three times as the Redskins trail 28-3 at halftime in a Monday night embarrassment against the Chicago Bears

But while fans may want to see Haskins, a rookie quarterback won’t solve Washington’s horrendous defense.

Through two quarters, Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky has thrown for 173 yards and three touchdowns, completing 87% of his passes. Chicago has destroyed Washington primarily with crossing routes and has been able to convert 75% (6 of 8) of their third downs.

The Bears first got on the board with a pick-six from former Washington safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, who returned Keenum’s pass 37 yards for a touchdown.

Washington hit a 35-yard field goal as time expired.
