ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis County police say a bystander to dispute was killed when someone involved in the argument pulled a gun and began firing.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the shooting happened Friday night in a residence north of St. Louis in the Castle Point area. Officers arriving at the home found a woman in her 30s with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released her name.

Police say she was in the home when the shooting suspect and another person became involved in a dispute. Investigators say the suspect fired and gun and hit this victim, who was not involved in the dispute.



No arrests had been reported by Saturday morning.
