The unrelenting quest by the Democrats to oust our duly elected president for their own self-serving interests (and their willingness to stretch it to any length possible) is a genuine disgrace (“Republican wants Adam Schiff censured for making up Trump quotes,” Web, Sept. 25). Rep. Schiff, chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, could serve as the poster child for this disgrace, with his pathetic performance of formally uttering lies about President Trump and Ukraine and entering them into the congressional record as a means to a subversive end.

The behavior demonstrated on Capitol Hill toward President Trump is analogous to the tenets of the “Queen Bee Syndrome” frequently prevalent in office settings, in which coworkers become jealous of a colleague’s success, achievements, awards and fame. They will do anything possible to undermine, undercut and attempt to remove from the workplace the successful individual.

The Democrats on Capitol Hill have become political limbo players and their theme refrain is, “How low can you go?” Their efforts to sway pubic opinion with lies is not beyond reproach and certainly has not escaped the notice of the voters. We have grown tired of these ridiculous efforts.
