SHARONVILLE, Ohio (AP) - A man was shot in the parking lot of a nursing facility in northeastern Ohio early Monday, authorities said.

Officers responding to reports of shots fired discovered the man had been shot around 1 a.m. in the parking lot of the St. Joseph home in Sharonville.

The man, identified only as a 21-year-old Cincinnati resident, apparently was followed to the site and was shot while he was waiting to drop off food for his girlfriend, police said.

The suspects followed the man after the shooting, but he was able to get away and drive himself to a hospital, authorities said. Details on his condition were not disclosed.

No other injuries were reported in the shooting, which authorities said was an isolated incident.

No arrests have been made.
