Fox News is done with the duo known as Diamond and Silk on the heels of the conservative commentators spreading misinformation about the novel coronavirus, a report said Monday.

The Daily Beast reported that Fox News has severed ties with the sisters, who have regularly appeared on the network and contributed content to its streaming Fox Nation platform.

“After what they’ve said and tweeted, you won’t be seeing them on Fox Nation or Fox News anytime soon,” said a source with knowledge of the matter, The Daily Beast reported.

Diamond and Silk — whose real names are Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, respectively — had hosted a weekly series made available through Fox Nation since late 2018.

Speculation about their relationship with the streaming service recently swelled in light of no new episodes being released since April 8.

The duo’s shared Twitter account was briefly suspended that same day after being found in violation of the social media platform’s policy against spreading misinformation about COVID-19, the infectious disease caused by the coronavirus.

“The only way we can become immune to the environment; we must be out in the environment. Quarantining people inside of their houses for extended periods will make people sick!” the verified @DiamondandSilk account posted in a since-deleted tweet.

The duo previously came under fire days earlier by claiming that members of the news media have inflated COVID-19’s death toll to try to make President Trump “look bad.”

Messages seeking comment from Fox News and Diamond and Silk were not immediately answered Tuesday

“Haters keep saying they hate Diamond and Silk, but you can’t hate what you ain’t never loved!” Diamond and Silk tweeted late Monday.

Mr. Trump shared that tweet from his own Twitter account early Tuesday, adding: “But I love Diamond & Silk, and so do millions of people!”
