LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas authorities are investigating after a body was found in a pickup truck caught on fire.

Police say someone called 911 Sunday night to report the vehicle fire and the possibility that someone was inside.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the car fully engulfed in flames. Authorities say the body was discovered in the front of the truck once the fire was extinguished.

Homicide detectives and arson investigators are investigating.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office is looking into the cause of death.



No other details about the victim were released.
