BRANDON, Miss. (AP) - Law officers say have captured a man accused of shooting another man at a Brandon home.

The 18-year-old suspect was apprehended at a Regions bank branch in Brandon Monday evening, said Paul Holley, legal counsel for the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to the home around 3:15 p.m., and found a man shot multiple times, The Clarion Ledger reported. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The shooting is believed to have stemmed from an ongoing property dispute, Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey told WLBT-TV.
