LYNN, Mass. (AP) - One person has been killed and another injured in a shooting north of Boston, authorities say.

A 33-year-old man died of his injuries at the scene while a 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital after the shooting in Lynn at about 6 p.m. Monday, according to the office of Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett.

The younger man is expected to survive, authorities said.



No names were made public.

There have been no arrests. The shooting remains under investigation by the district attorney’s office and Lynn police.
