PHOENIX (AP) -
Police in Phoenix say a dead body has been found on a South Mountain hiking trail.
They say a hiker discovered the body of a man Wednesday morning while on the Geronimo hiking trail.
Police say the cause of death isn’t immediately clear and will be investigated.
The name and age of the dead man weren’t immediately released.
Police say crews are using a hoist operation to get the dead body off the mountain and they are being assisted by Phoenix Fire Department personnel.
