CLEVELAND (AP) - A 17-year-old boy fatally shot in the head Thursday night in Cleveland has been identified by authorities.

A police report identified the teen as Devon Lewis, of Cleveland.

He was shot around 6:30 p.m. on the city’s east side. The police report said witnesses heard a single gunshot and saw a car speed away. He was found lying on a sidewalk and died at a Cleveland hospital.

Marijuana wrapped in a tissue was found by officers in Devon’s hand along with a digital scale in his coat pocket and a bag of marijuana on the ground next to him.
