KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) - A man working in his garage was fatally shot Sunday in Kansas City, Kansas, police said.

The shooting was reported shortly after 10 a.m., The Kansas City Star reported.

Two men had been at the home working in the driveway and inside the open garage when they were approached by a man dressed in dark clothes, said Nancy Chartrand, spokeswoman for the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department.



The man shot at them before fleeing in a vehicle.

A 43-year-old man who lives at the home was shot multiple times in his midsection, and died at the hospital from his injuries, Chartrand said. The other man was not injured.
