NEW YORK (AP) - A man was arrested on charges of murder and assault in connection with the death of a man who was crushed by a subway train following an intervention into an argument, police said Thursday.
The New York Police Department said Todd Hubbard, 57, was arrested on Wednesday in the July 3 death of Dwayne Brown, also 57. Information on an attorney for Hubbard was not available.
At the time of Brown’s death, police said he had tried to break up an argument between other people on the platform and somehow ended up on the tracks.
Brown was hit by a southbound train and was pronounced dead at the scene.
