Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, resumed posting on Twitter early Wednesday on the heels of having his privileges on the platform temporarily suspended for sharing misinformation.

“Obviously there is no limit to what they will do to push their narrative,” he reacted in one of his first tweets after the suspension expired.

“Big tech is trying to make you think the way that they do and the government is helping them do it. Enough is enough,” he said in another tweet.

Twitter announced Tuesday it had restricted the younger Trump’s account, @DonaldJTrumpJr, for violating its policy against sharing misinformation about COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

Mr. Trump Jr. had shared a video on Twitter late Monday that falsely claimed a cure exists for COVID-19. Scientists have not yet found an effective cure or treatment for the disease, however, and Twitter determined the video arguing otherwise violates its policy against spreading “misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19.”

Twitter said Tuesday it had limited the functionality of Mr. Trump Jr.’s account for 12 hours as a result of him violating the company’s rule against spreading coronavirus misinformation.

Kelli Ward, chair of the Arizona Republican Party, similarly had her account temporarily limited Tuesday by Twitter after promoting the same video.

One week until the Arizona state primary, Ms. Warn responded by accusing Twitter of “partnering with the mainstream media and the Democrats to tip the scale in the 2020 election.” A spokesperson for Twitter said in response the company was enforcing its COVID-19 misinformation policy.
