LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a suspect has been charged and is being sought in the deaths of two men whose bodies were found in a burned pickup truck in Pennsylvania.
The Lancaster County district attorney’s office said Wednesday that 36-year-old Ezequiel Almodovar of Upper Leacock Township is wanted on homicide charges and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Prosecutors said the county coroner’s office is working to confirm the identities of two men found in the burned vehicle in Manor Township early Tuesday. Police said the victims are believed to have been shot Monday evening at the suspect’s house, then driven to a farm lane in the truck which was then set afire.
Almodovar is also charged with arson, evidence-tampering and two counts of abuse of a corpse. Court documents don’t list an attorney representing the defendant. Police are investigating whether anyone else was involved, and anyone with information is asked to call East Lampeter Township police.
