DETROIT (AP) - A 22-year-old Detroit woman was charged Friday with manslaughter in the death of her 14-year-old brother.
Chinasia Williams is accused of removing the magazine from a handgun before pointing it at her brother and pulling the trigger. But there was a bullet remaining in the chamber, the Wayne County prosecutor’s office said.
Chance Williams was killed Tuesday.
Bond was set at $75,000 for Williams. It wasn’t known if she has a lawyer who could comment on the charges.
Williams was charged with manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter.
“A nearby neighbor was called to the scene and transported Chance to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” the prosecutor’s office said.
