FORT KENT, Maine (AP) - A 30-year-old man died when he was thrown from his all-terrain vehicle in northern Maine.

Cpl. John MacDonald, spokesman for the Maine Warden Service, said Travis Haley of New Canada, Maine, lost control of his 2014 Polaris while cornering and hit an embankment in a ditch on Tuesday.

Haley was riding in Fort Kent, which borders Canada in northern Maine.
