CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - A shooting in an eastern Pennsylvania community has left two teenage boys dead and two others wounded.
But it’s not yet known what sparked the gunfire in Chester, which erupted around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responding to reports of shots fired found two wounded 15-year-old boys, Edward Harmon and Tayvonne Avery, who were pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Another youth there who had been wounded was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
Another teen who was shot in the torso later went to a hospital and was listed in good condition.
The names of the two wounded teens were not released.
Authorities said Wednesday that the shooting remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.
