NARVON, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania man accused of killing his girlfriend and barricading himself in a Philadelphia-area hotel earlier this month has waived a preliminary hearing on criminal homicide and related charges
Matthew Moser, 31, of Honey Brook is accused of killing 47-year-old Kristin Graham on or about March 1 at her residence in Caernarvon Township in Lancaster County. Investigators said the two had been in a relationship.
Authorities said police were sent to check on her welfare after her estranged husband said his 14-year-old daughter, who lived part-time with Graham, hadn’t been able to reach her since Feb. 29.
Police say Moser was taken into custody after a lengthy standoff March 3 at a hotel in West Goshen Township, Chester County. He is scheduled to be formally arraigned April 24.
Court documents indicate Moser is being represented by the county public defender’s office, where a message seeking comment could not be left Sunday.
