DENNIS, Mass. (AP) - The body of a missing 15-year-old swimmer was recovered late Saturday night in Dennis after the boy went underwater and did not resurface, firefighters said.

The U.S. Coast Guard, Dennis police and firefighters searched for the boy after police received a call about a possible drowning around 7:45 p.m., WBZ-TV reported. They were searching the Bass River near a bridge in South Dennis. The Coast Guard said they deployed a helicopter and search boat to try to find the boy.
