The wife of Baltimore Ravens safety Earl Thomas allegedly pointed a gun and later chased him with a knife after she caught him having an affair, according to police in Texas.

Nina Thomas was arrested last month and was charged with burglary of a residence with intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following the incident. Earl Thomas was not arrested.

On April 13, Nina Thomas briefly held a loaded pistol “less than a foot” from her husband’s head after finding him in bed with another woman, TMZ reported late Wednesday.

Nina Thomas first discovered the affair allegedly by using her husband’s Snapchat to discover video with another woman and then used the app to find his location. Thomas had left their home earlier in the day following an argument about the safety’s drinking, according to the outlet.

When Nina Thomas and two of her friends arrived to confront the safety, they discovered the seven-time Pro Bowler and his brother, Seth, “in bed with other women,” according to the documents.

It was then Nina Thomas held her husband at gunpoint. She later told police she believed the gun was empty and wanted to “scare him,” but was unaware there was still a round in the chamber. Earl then wrestled the gun away.

Police did not get involved in the incident until 3:41 a.m. the next morning when they received a call about a domestic disturbance at the couple’s home.

As they arrived, Nina Thomas was chasing her husband with a knife around a car, police said. They also saw Earl Thomas holding a gun.

Both Thomases cooperated with police after they were told to drop to the ground.

After an investigation, police arrested Nina Thomas.

On Wednesday, the Ravens star addressed the incident in a video posted to his Instagram. He said he was angry that the news was reported, adding “it’s really not anybody’s business.”

“Stuff like this happens,” he said. “We try to live the best life we possibly can, but sometimes it don’t go as planned. Just pray for us as we go through this stuff. We’re back talking, I’m seeing my kids, so just keep up in your prayers.”

The couple has been married since 2016, according to Yahoo Sports.

The Ravens signed Thomas, an All-Pro safety who spearheaded the Seattle Seahawks’ “Legion of Boom,” last year to a four-year, $55 million deal.
